sorry i don't have hardware to check this function, i want to copy the data logs from HMI SD Card to pen drive , so is it possible to insert the Pen drive in USB port and copy the file from SD card to Pen drive?

What do you mean by Pendrive? To me it is a USB device, so if your comfort panel supports its file system then you can move files there addressing it Storage Card USB".

We can insert the Fat32 format USB device in usb port and stop run time then we can just copy the csv and pdf file from SD card to USB device (it was just like a copy and paste) i am right ?

Yes, you can use copy paste, like on PC.

I don't know If there is some other limitations besides file system, e.g. size, but it should work. I Have never used over 32Gb.

Thanks for your reply and finally you clarified me , but can you please see the below link here they using script to copy the files. That makes me confuse.

Can u please explain about this, either they are copying the files during HMI in runtime?

So if we copy during stop, then we don't want script am right ?

Hi,

Yes they are moving or copying file during run time. All the logs should be closed if you want to copy or do anything with a file.

When you are copying files manually in WinCE you do it just like you would do on PC. All the logs are closed and logging is stopped when you exit the run time.

Your WinCC HMI is just a program that is running on WInCE. When the program is not on you're just using WinCE device.
