Hi All, 

We're having an issue that the IP adress of a TP900 changes to the standard IP adress after download. (192.168.144.1)

the ip adress is set in the project, (IP 192.168.100.2 Subnet 255.255.255.0) and the box "set ip adress in project" is checked.

we manage to set the IP adress in the settings of the HMI, but on new download it's gone again...

is there anyone, who had this issue before?

Does anyone know what the possible solution would be?

Hello NiekT,

did you use the IP address 192.168.144.1 when downloading the hardware configuration to the PLC? Then you should give it a try to load the HW config again after setting the new IP address in the project.

Thanks for thinking along..

We've tried that as well...

Also the adress in the project has always been 192.168.0.100.

It's very strange that the HMI is selecting another IP adress thats nowhere in the configuration...

It is a mere simple solution to change the IP in the HMI settings after downloading BUT, IF we ever have to go remote service, we are in deep sh*t....

I now in similar problem only from WinCC Professional if from control
panel -> PG/PC interface you use a network card  <network card>.TCPIP.Auto.1 not <network card>.TCPIP.1
If you use the network card with <network card>.TCPIP.Auto.1 the ip address is canged automatically

is configured as described above... still the same issue....

and we found the solution in meantime;

Apparantly, for some reason the IP adress configured in the software did not get thru. 

SO i've tried downloading the program with "IP adress is set at the device".

after this i changed back to "Ip adress is set in project" and downloaded again. Problem solved.
