We have a HMI problem on a maschine with SIMOTION D on TIA 17/SCOUT 5.4.3 with a HMI TP1200 Comfort. Each time we compile the HMI project we get an information that target device has a more recent compatible runtime. However we installed all recent updates for WinCC we could find.

The original programmer of the maschine left us and does not answer any contact requests. Our main problem is the way he programmed his maschine and the HMI. Some of the programs in SIMOTION have a  "HMI_Export := TRUE;" code lines and when he(original programmer) changed those programs the HMI loost its connection to PLC until he had recompiled the HMI and downloaded it again.

We fear now that if we download an older runtime version it will also break the connection with the SIMOTION program and we will make the maschine HMI inoperable. However we cannot find what we are missing to get rid off this warning that target device has a "more recent compatible runtime". We even installed the Wincc Runtime Advanced Update 5 and Wincc Runtime Professional Update 4 + SCADA_RT_V17_UPD4_SR1. Anyone can tell us which of our installed software needs a higher version? or are we missing something else?
