HMI OP277 6" always "Freeze" no respond from push button

RobertQ Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I experience my HMI on the machines "hang" or "Freeze" no respond from the front push button. The machines still running normal but if there is any upset I am not able to reset the alarm and restart back the machines immediately. It required to keep pressing the button and by luck it respond. After some times the HMI recovered by itself without doing anything to it. This problem keeps repeating. I yet to find a conclusion why or how this is happening. No tips from Siemens how to resolve this issues or why the HMI behaves this way. Anyone face thistype ofissue before?

See the following link: how do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels? Remark:"OS update" will delete theHMI program. Best regards......

RobertQ Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear Mohamed, Can i just do the "OS update" without "reset to factory setting"? I don't have the USB/PPI cable, i presume i won't be able to carry out the update or reset with the Ethernet cable? Regards, Robert.
