Hello everyone,

I have a probleme with the HMI Panel Image Updater, I got TIA Portal V18 on a Windows 10 VMware virtual machine, i tried using HMI PIU but i can't connect to my siemens account no matter what, always asking to check my credentials even though i can login without issues in chrome on that same virtual machine.

I also have a colleague who used HMI PIU on his windows 10 virtual machine without any issues, we both have the same VMnet parameters and used a connection through our phones

can anyone help me on this one?.

Yes of course, see attachement, but it doesn't give any code so i don't know if it will be of any help

All i know is that the same credentials works on chrome for SIOS but not on HMI PIU.

Maybe there's a log file or something i could take a look at? but i can't find where it could be.

If the PIU installer does not work for you, please proceed as follows to install the V17 Upd8 images:

Under the link below, item "1.2 Offline Installation Panel Images V17/V16 recommended for upgrade", you will find the panel images that can be installed without setup. These are described as TIA V16 and V17, but you can use those of V17 for TIA V19. You must unzip the zip file and copy it to the corresponding TIA 19 folder. The path for the correct folder can be found in the readme file for the panel images.

The HMI Panel Image Updater (PIU) can now log in to Siemens Industry Online Support again. Fortunately, a server-side solution has been found that eliminates the need to update the PIU.
