I been searching for a few days how to handle the problem that it is not possible for a Win.CE panel to access a file specified by IP address. ( \\nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn\map\file.ext ) .

The filename has to be \\host\map\file.ext . If I am right , this should be handled by mains of a hostname resolution . On a CE system there is no LMHOST file as in normal windows .

in the forum i found that it can be added in the registry with this key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Tcpip\Hosts\<host name>

Now I am looking for a solution to edit the registry in a TP comfort panel .

Somebody who has done this before ?
