Unfortunately, the printing functionality within TIA Portal does not yet support WinCC Unified Screens or Faceplates. Therefore, you will not be able to extract images from the print output, as it does not contain any.

I would say it does also not make much sence using such a functionality.

WinCC Unified often uses a dynamic screen hierarchie with screen windows, so in Engineering you will see often not the same as in Runtime. also often only in Runtime you see the values for texts or faceplates but not in engineering.

We create screenshots for manuals in Runtime, often in Simulation or also using SmartServer (VNC Access) if we have a Unified Comfort Panel to show the screenshots that also the operator will see on his machine.
