HMI setpoints retentive in logo

How can I take NAI setpoint values from an HMI (KTP400) and make them retentive in the Logo plus write back to the NAI VM so the value persist after a power cycle?

I tried this but it does not work, see attachment.

So the HMI has two setpoint INT values sent to the Logo. I want to send these values to retentive memory and then use the M8 flag to write them back to the same VM location as they are coming int the Logo.

Any suggestions?

I looked at that code but t is just triggering an On/Off based on the setpoint.

I need the actual values stored retentively then perhaps using the M8 flag, written back the VM location so the HMI fields get repopulated after power cycle.

In the example code, I do not see where it is written back to VM.

I see the incoming setpoint value from the HMI at VW0 and I see it is stored in B007 but I don't see where it is written back to VW0.

Still does not work.

After adding this code, when I enter a HMI value it is there for an instant then goes to zero.

I cannot seem to enter a value on the HMI and have it retain in the PLC.

If I of course change the VM mapping to write to a different VM location other than the VM coming from the HMI, the value stays in the entry field n the HMI.

I still cannot get an HMI value to be retentive in the PLC.

I am happy to send you my code if you care to look it over.
