HMI Sim not communicating

JenIRL Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm a newbie so bear with me...much more at home with AB stuff. I'm playing with an S7-1200, PLC & HMI programs in TIA v11. I want to simulate the HMI butit won't communicate(#### instead of values and PLC not seeing buttons being pressed). I can go online to the PLC no prob. Is it something really simple and obvious?? Please?

Windows Control Panel -> Set PG/PC Interface and select the network adapter you want to use for HMI simulator. When that does not work, it generally means the language of your project is not matched with the portal defaults. In the project tree, find the language area near the bottom of the project tree and make the proper selection(s) to match your needs.
