HMI Simulation problem

geri036 Posts: 152 Rating: (5)	Hi guys! I am using TIA V15.1 and WinCC Advanced. I use PLCSim to simulate my PLC code but I also want to use HMI simulation on my laptop so I can test my software. I have to write and read some values from data blocks in PLC from the HMI. Which licence do I need so I can do that? Is there a limit of tags I can use in simulation or these Power Tags are only relevant when I have a real HMI? PLC simulation works perfect but when I run HMI simulation I get message about Power tags and whe I try to write some value in HMI screen field that is connected to PLC data block I get message it can not write data to PLC.

Check the settings for PG/PC Interface in the windows control Panel. What is configured for S7 ONLINE. And please which Versions and SW you use, please give the exact informations. Its because the PLC Sim in the newer Versions for example V14, V15 and V15.1 needs a new Panel image: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109742764 Bye Murof
