Hello! I have question regarding HMI sl () running on PCU50.3. I am trying to start up machine with NCU720.2 and PCU50.3.I have follow instruction in Commission manual NCK,PLC,Drive and finished commission for PLC.Now, next step is to commission Sinamics drives but when I go Start Up-DriveSystem there is no softkey Drives(only Drive Device and Infeed softkey).So i cannot start drive commission wizard from HMI sl.So, do I need to have commission software on my PG/PC or is it possible to finish start up only with HMI sl on PCU? |

Hello..... Normally you should get the screen Drive system softkey.....if it is PCU50.3. What is the version HMI used in your PCU50.3? You can also do the commissioing through your PC/PG too.... Regards, Ekalavya |

Ekalavya, thank you on your quick response. Version of my HMI sl is (02.06.00.01).I have Drive System softkey but then in this menu i dont have Drives softkey. |

Hello..... This is your NC software version (02.06.00.01)...... you need to go to daignosis > service display > version > HMI version ??? see in this screen you have your HMI verison for ex: 07.06.00 Regards, Ekalavya |

This screen shows next: NCU system software: V02.05 +sp01+hf01 (in next column Nominal version is "!")-maybe problem is here In detail view for NCU sw all components have green check mark except comp."Sinamics runtime" and "Hardware" PCU system sw: PRELIMINARY_V02.06.00.01 (her is green check mark in nominal version) (in detail view for PCU system:Sinumerik Operate VV02.06.00.01). When I look this I have also on supplied DVDs some software called "cnc_sw2.6_hf2" and "cnc_sw2.6_hf4",maybe i need to install these also.Can you tell me for what is it and how is it installed? And thank you for your help.. |

Thank you all for trying to help. This is answer from Support:(question was is it possible to commission drives with HMI sl): "you would need ether an HMI-advanced on the PCU or the IBN-Tool (part of SinuCom Service-Tools DVD 6FC5250-7AY00-6AG), both are possible to be installed parallel to the HMI-Operate on PCU - from (future) SW2.7 the drive commissioning functionality within hmi-Operate should be suitable too" |
