Hi everyone,

I am facing a strange issue when calling the HMI tags from PLC1200, 

everytime I try to refer the HMI tag to PLC tag, window appears saying

"TIA PORTAL has encountered a problem and needs to close"

I don't know what to do to solve this issue 

could you please help

Delete the tag.

Compile ,Save and close the project.

Re-open the project and add the tag and compile

Unfortunately didn't work.

I also tried another program but the same issue, do you have another solution ?

Unfortunately not. This is going to be you figuring it out because it's not a typical error that can be traced.

Just keep experimenting like you're doing and you'll get there. Delete the whole HMI device and save as other project and then copy and paste from project to the next while compiling as you go along.
