Hi there!

I used the HMI template suite from Siemens already a few times when I programmed in LOGO. Then I always got rid of the logon option (wasn't neccesary).

But now I use TIA Portal V16 with a ET200S CPU and I do want it to work.

The problem is that I can't figure out how to show a username on the upper border (pre made).

When I tested it with the original logon popup which you can call, it does work with an example in user administration as "admin", "admin". But when using the template made Logon popup it doesn't. 

Is there a way to make this work or can i better replace it with the original logon function?

First of all, thank you for you help!

But the thing is, that the way you showed it always works.

The question is, why it's not working on the pre made HMI Suite Template from Siemens: https://new.siemens.com/global/en/products/automation/simatic-hmi/hmi-template-suite.html

I attached a file with screenshots of how they do it.

I think it's working now, I deleted the german part (also already integrated in the template) of the script.
