I am using HMI panels which are configured over Tia Portal package. I do configure admin and user pass in a typical way, as explained in many youtube videos. I am not doing something special.

During testing and FAT test everything is OK and I can entry numerous times into the HMi over set passwords. But after some time, when customer starts to use the HMI and dedicated passwords I get a notification from him that its password is not able to login to HMI (he will get again and again login screen). If I do this on the Runtime simulator with the same version as installed on the real HMI everything is OK. If I go to site I will see his problem.

What could be the problem? Is it that he entered 3 times wrong password and due to this dedicated password cannot be used anymore on the HMI or something else? Or maybe is this some bug which will be solved if the latest firmware is installed? I do not know, I am just putting some guess ideas. :)

Please help me with some solution how to fix this issue/bug/or whatever it is.

Split from Reset hmi user password.

 yeah you have guessed it right

you will face the same issue in simulation testing if you try to login with wrong password more than 3 times

you can disable this from runtime settings if you want
