Holding brake motor

sounds like the same crane and problem like here:

SIMOTION have no Logic for Motor Control Brake.

The Brake is controlled and configured in the SINAMCIS.

You can send a Controlword Bit from Simotion to the SINAMCIS that open or close the Brake , not more.
But this depends how the Brake is configured in the sinamics, have you a screenshot of the Brake Control Config in the SINAMICS?

Hello,

with the Button "Close Brake" and "Release Brake" you can go to the Signal charts of the Brake control and configure the signals you would use.

The input 12.0 is on the Simotion C240 ?

So you must interkonnect the Brake Signals from the drive with BICO Signals to the PROFIBUS Chanel and a telegram.

Or if you have a free DI on the CU you should use this for the Control.

if i see this correct the High Signal on DI3 close the brake!

If you will close the brake with Signal Status low then use the inverted input status (R723.3).
