Horizontal slider to Set Brightness on my TP700 comfort panel

First I created a slider that adjusts the value of an integer tag called "SetBrightnessTAG" from 0 to 100. Secondly I added a button next to it which triggers the event SetBrightness (to value inserted in the tag "SetBrightnessTAG"). - First problem: I can only create a vertical slider in winCC - Second problem: when I click the button nothing happens. I must say I'm using HMI simulation, maybe that's the problem? - Thirth problem: even if it worked I want to adjust the brightness only with a slider, I don't want the button present. Should I add the SetBrightness event to the slider, triggeredon change of value? Any answers or suggestionsare very welcome. Thanks in advance. Greetings, Jens

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, yes, in simulation this won't work. you can't change the direction of the object slider. if you really need it horizontal, you can make your own slider. see this application: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/48052573they made their own gauge with a graphic IO-field. you can do this analogical. or you add an object, e.g. a rectangle and move this dynamically with an animation. I did follow your advice and made a graphic I/O field, put the scroll bar horizontal in appearance. I made a graphic list, with 11 entries, from 0 to 100 (incrementing with +10)all containing the same image saying "CLICK TO SET BRIGHTNESS", and connected the graphic I/O field with the tag 'SetBrightness'. Then added an SetBrightnessevent on "Input finished". Allthough this will probably work, I'm not satisfied with the result. First of all it's an increment of +10, this isn't accurate by the least. Also the brightness will only change when I click on the image "CLICK TO SET THE BRIGHTNESS", I'd rather have my brightness changed instantaneously. Is their any way to create an movable object couples to a tag, which changes according to the position (x) of that object? Greeting Jens

roadjet81 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	hey I also want to this at my tp700. after 30 minutes the brightness should be 0 or 10%. when a signal from the plc is coming or a touch the brightness should be the same as bevor. Where i have to use the variable for the brightness?? Also interesting would be a screensaver function, but I have found nothing best regards Andreas
