HelloForoogh, It's just a small mistake in the catalog. The 5 bus units in the catalog applies only to the 48cm rail. Please, check the descriptionherewhile the 62cm rail doesn't have that 5 inits description. In theET200M manual, the maximum is 9 bus units (mixed 1X80 and 2X40). I've done some projects where I pushed the IM15-2 to its limit (12 modules) and hot swapping was still working. If this is a new project that won't start in next 6 months, then I recommend to wait forthe new IM153-2BA10. Best regards, H-H

Hello dear H-H, Thanks a lot for your helpful reply. about the normal (40 mm) cards, it becomes clear: with this IM, I can use up to 12 modules, meaning 6 active bus modules (2X40)... But I also understood from your reply, that I may have for example 8 cards of 8mm size, and so 8 active bus module (1X80) inserted on the rail, am I right? by the way, thanks for your recommendation. I will take it into account. Best Regards |
