How A batch report can be Created

Nithin Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	Hai all, I am now doing WinCC v6.2 I need to know how Reporting is Done ? The company needs a batch report ( One Report per Batch) I am told that reports are done like this? 1. Dump Required WinCC tag values to SQL Server or MS Access 2. Through a VB or C script filter or mould the data to fit a predefined Excel sheet. Q 1 )What all configurations must i do in Wincc or its inbuilt SQL server for all this? Q 2 )How to dump data to SQL Server or MS Access? (What is general logic of script and can i write it in C because i dont know VB) Q 3)Then Logic of Filtering to Excel?

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	There are many ways to do this. If you want to print reports, you can use WinCC report designer. If you want export data there are ways to export WinCC arcive data. But if you are looking for less programming, checkout WinCC/Datamonitor option. There are many functionality for this but this has really nice and extensive automatic reporting tool and can be accessed over the network. Check this link for more info

Using user archive you can configure customised tables and using C-Scripting or control tags, you can dump the data to User arcchive table (Which is located in SQL Server). Also user archive data can be exported to excel sheet. Also you can use user archive table in report designer to create a report. When installing WinCC, select user defined installation and from options select "User archive" and you can try out this option. may be this help you??
