If I enter 0 on your hmi in that I/O box, you want it to display 5?

My hands will immediately type 0 again because I REALLY want 0.

What do you really want?  Angry operators?  Unhappy customers?

Or, perhaps you could explain what values are entered, what values are calculated in the hmi or plc, and why they are changed in the hmi OR plc.
