How can command from code in ladder diagram in FC block send/download to slave and control machine?

Hello everybody.

Finally, I set correctly hw configurations for master and slave devices. No more red lights on plc after download configurations in master and slave cpu's.
Machine which I need to program is connected to slave device.

How I can commands from code in ladder diagram in FC block send/download to slave and control machine?

If you have finally been able to setup the configuration of your master and slave, based on the sample project suggested by Towone, thenm you must have a configuration table such as the one in attachment.

Whatever the master writes to the Output addresses (AB100/QB100 for example, from the configuration shown below) will be read in the slave at address EB0/IB0.

Whatever the slae wrties to its outputs (such as AW1/QW1) will be read by the master in its input address EW101/IW101.

If you have trouble understanding this, show us your own configuratipon table.

I followed sample project suggested by Towone, but I decide to use simple transfer data profibus, without SFC14 and SFC15 blocks. Is this just slower transfer data in this consistent volume data? Is this my config ok or wrong?

SFC15/14 blocks are not inherently faster or slower than simple Load/Transfer instructions. They simply transfer blocks of more than 5 bytes as a single telegram. You use th SFCs if you need to make sure that the data you transfer does not change (it remains consistent) between the beginning and the end of the transmission procedure.

Is your code OK, I cannot tell, you doi not show anything more than the master-slave configuration. What have you tested with it? have you tried writing to the master's Output address and see if it changes on the slave's Input address?

If transmission between master and slave happens without problems then your configuration is OK.

If it doesn't, then check you configuration once again.

Now, the question arises: how do you use the Profibus master-slave exchanges to trigger an action.

Say you want the slave to perform an action. The trigger is on the master.

-The master's trigger bit activates one of its Profibus Output bits.

-Profibus sends the data to the slave.

-The slave recieves the data on its configured Input bit.

-The input bit triggers the action on the slave.

I have tried to schematize these actions in the attachment belo. Just remeber that is is exacly the same as triggering an action on a single PLC, but for a master-slave configuraton Profibus is now in the middle.

I still got some basic questions abaout profibus:

1) How to download HW config to master and slave cpu? 

- HW config for master via Ethernet cable, and HW config for slave via profibus cable from master

-Or in particular via Ethernet cable also?

2) Commands you sent me for test profibus are from OB1 block or FC? How to test profibus, from Organization Block or Function? 
I will have to program pneumatic machine connected to the slave PLC, so I'm confused where I sholud in master write code for program?

Please help.

it doesn´t matter how you load your HW-config to CPU. You can download it every interface you can connect.

Please, can you tell me something about this warnings in attachment? Does led indicator blink on PLC beacause of this?

The messages you see are warnings, use the Help button to find suggestions on how to fix them.

What LEDs are blinking, and on which module?

Open the HWConfig of the master, put it online (with the glasses icon), and see what mdodules are shown with a red slash (a fault symbol).

Double-click on the faulty modules in that screen to see what the CPUs are complaining about. This opens the diagnostic buffer of the modules, showing a log of recent system messages of events that concern the CPU's operating system.

Hello. Finnaly I have correct Profibus configurations for master and slave devices. SF and BF leds after downloading are off.

1) Now I have to connect machine to slave device and from master start process (program code in FC block - ladder diagram).
Do you have some example with implementing FC block (with program code in ladder diagram) in profibus system?

2)After that I need to make SCADA system for all this profibus project. I use WINCC Flexible 2008. Any example or manual?
