Hi guys ! I don't want to create new topic since my issue is same or at least similiar. How I can find adresses of I/O outputs in S5 software if they are not "addressed" in a classic way ? I've never work with S5 before and I've got some software in pdf form I can easily identify some inputs because looks like they are addresed directly - for example here: Netzwerk 3 +---+ E 33.0 --O!>=1! +---+ E 33.1 --O! !-----! & ! +---+ ! ! E 33.2 --O! ! +------+ E 33.3 --O! !--+-! S ! M 49.7 +---+ +------+ So I can see some inputs which are assigned to Marker 49.7 Or maybe smth like: L M49.7 But in whole program I can't find anything like this. Is there any other special way of addressing for DO commands ? Maybe whole card is someho mapped to some DB block or some special markers group ? Can anyone suggest me how to find thos outputs in software ? BR ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Kargan, look in the cross-reference list for QB 0 or QW 0.

Hello Kargan, take a look at page 45 of the PDF file. There are the instructions for transfering the states of the flag bytes (MB) to the output bytes (AB). It's german mnemonic. AttachmentSOFT_LS page 45.pdf (394 Downloads) |
