How can i check the analog input and out puts by using the simatic manager software

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (259)	Choose CPU in Step 7 Manger. Then in menu PLC -> Monitor/Modify variables. In appeared window(VAT) type address you are interested in and press "glass" button. Analog signals are usually located outside process image partition.Soaddresswouldbelike PIW 512 (note P letter in the beginning). Unfortunately you can't see outputs this way. You have to write (in OB1 for example) L MW234; T PQW 544. Then you can monitor/modify MW234 and this value would be on PQW544. Another method is to defineanalogsignalsinsideprocessimagepartition -forexamplebyreducingtheiraddress (in HwKonfig).Thiswayyoucansee everythingwithVAT, but without P letter (ex. IW 12 or QW44).
