How can I communicate with Modicon PLCs with Profibus Siemens

hello efe; If you mean Profibus-DP between a Siemens S7 CPU and a Modicon CPU, it should be very easy. One of the CPUs must be master on the Profibus, the other must be slave. Use your PLC's Profibus configurator (HWConfig in Step 7 for the Siemens controler, Sycon or Prosoftfor the Modicon) to set that up, and then in each configurator you must setup exchange areas that match. Have a look at the user manual for the Quantum DP slave module, from Prosoft technologies; you can find it here: http://www.prosoft-technology.com/content/view/full/8740 It shows you the steps to set up the network, on the Quantum side, with Concept 2.6. On the other hand, the following example shows how to create a DP link between a S7 as master and a S5 as slave. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6556876 You should be able to extrapolate the rest.
