How can i configure one set Scalance X212-2 and five set Scalance X204-2 in Ring Redundant network

Hello Hamed, there are two different ways to configure a ring: 1) Configuration via Webinterface. I would sugest to configure one device fixed as ring manager and the others as clients. Here you will find some further information about ring configuration: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21420847 2) Configuration via STEP7. It is also possible to configure a MRP ring via Step7 HW Config. |

Hi, 1. If SCALANCE-X-200 have defult IP Address ? >> SCALANCE device are always shipped without an IP-Address: 0.0.0.0 2. How can i set IP address for each Scalance? >> If you want to set the IP-Address you could use the Accesible nodes feature in Step 7 or the Primary Setup Tool. The Primary Setup Tool is available on the CD delivered with the products or as a free download here: Download:Primary Setup Tool For more detailed information have a look in Chapter 6.1 of the Operating Instructions for the X200. Manual:Operating Instructions X200 3-After set IP address for all scalances ,I will be used of WBM (Web Base Management) Software for define scalance X212-2 as manage and other scalance as clinet in ring redandant network.
