MY MPI DOESN,T WORK! HOW CAN I FIND MY MPI ADDRESS? (I USE 6ES7 972-0CB20-0XA0 Splitted from DP doesn't work at all, MPI doesn't work how it should be.. |

Hello, This is your second issue about MPI adapter. The previous one was in other conference. It is not necessary to put more then once the same issue here in forum. This doesn't means faster answer, just more job for Moderators. Now back to your question. You are using 6ES7 972-0CB20-0XA0 (SIMATIC S7, PC ADAPTER USB F. CONNECTION OF S7-200/300/400 C7; WITH USB-CABLE (5M) CAN BE USED UNDER WIN 2000/XP ) I assumed you already read What should you watch out for when installing the USB PC adapter? Was adpter work before? And suddenly stopped. Did you check if your USB port work? Anyway if you select in PG/PC interface - PC Adapter (MPI) there has option to choice MPI address and to see all addresses into connected network. Hope this will helps. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |
