In my WinCC Unified V17 Project I am doing the user management over TIA Portal (not over UMC). When I define the users and their default passwords and load project, The users can directly login with their default passwords and if they want they can change their passwords over the login dialog box. That's working so far good.

But our company policies require that the default password is changed immedietly at the first logon with the default password. Currently the user can do this or not. How can I force the user to do that?

In the policy settings I can just see "enableiing password aging" and Password validity (days). But that is not what I want. There should be something like "force user to change password at first logon".  Is there a workaround to do that?

Unfortunately this functionality is not available in the standard user management of the TIA Portal (force password change that I know of), I only see it possible that using the online permissions management they could log in the first time and update their password:

"SIMATIC HMI WinCC Unified Engineering V18: Editing password, status or role"

However, with UMC there are two ways: First one, if you create a user from the UMC web interface, there is a column titled "Must change password" where you have to check it to True. In case the user is created in the AD, you can set this condition up in the AD server.
