i have another question please.

is it possible yo have more than one PG/PC interface?in my plant i have a wincc proj. and the communication btwn the CPU and the PC is being via cp343 thats why the PG/PC interface is set to the ethernet card.now if i want to go online to the CPU i am not able to access the CPU from the cp343(CPU is not accessible in the view accessible node) so i have to use the MPI/Profibus  PC adapter and the PC adapter will not work until i change the set PG/PC interface to "PC adapter MPI or Profibus" and in this case the wincc proj. loses the communication with th CPU.So how can i make two PG/PC interface one ethernet for the Wincc proj.and another MPI for the PC adapter.

this is not possible.

Both Applications use the Access Path S7Online and only one Adapter can be assigned to the accesspath.

You can try to configure WinCC in a way that it use another accesspath insteed of S7Online, then it should be possible.

the PLC should be accessible with the CP343, but not listed under accessible nodes!

I don't know the WinCC Scada System and how configure the Access Path for it.

do you use a CP343-1 lean?

Its because the Lean Communication processors have limited communication ressources. A winCC Scada System uses 2 connections in the CP. if you have other communication partners too a communication limit is reached soon.

and of course you could use more than one Access Paths in the PGPC Settings.

you could create one for the WinCC communiation and then you could use the S7ONLINE Access Point for the S7 Software.

With Network interface cards (NICs) being so cheap a suggestion could be to install another NIC in your computer. This additional network card would be set with another IP that's still on the same subnet. Connect both network cards to your network and see if this solves your problem.

In WinCC Tag Manager under the connections you can specify what network card to use for the connection. See example screen shot

More than one Networkcard in the same Subnet in one computer is a "no go".

which one should the System use? its always a cause of conflicts. and some software do not work with it.
