How can read the .396 file in Step5?

i have an old s5 project and a .396 file on it 

how can i read the .396 file

i dont know how to find com396 package 

please help

we had a s5 control system  and we changed it to s7 completely. and now it works with s7.

and now we not have s5 plc installed.

i have a backup of our old plc program an a  .396 file

i  only want to read this file with pc and read some parameter that i need to  compare  with our currently  s7 project .

another question :

is it possible to read op396 programs and data  without connecting to plc?

Is the Files format like this:

                                       ****ST.S5D, *****Z0.SEQ, ****Z0.INI, ****PX.INI

Or what kind of format do they got?

Also, to read/write a plc " block" you need to make a project in Step5 and import your backup file (the PLC files format is: ******ST.S5D), then you'll be able to rd/wrt blocks entity.
