Maybe it is very long time ago but I have a problem at same subject. But I want to use only reiceve command, is it possible to use receive command as this document.

You can use Receive_P2P like this.....

only with Receive_config inst.there should be a receveConditions structure at Receive_Config input....

unfortunately I never find out the right one.....

Firstly I'm new at Simens plc programing, and 2 years ago I write this program. I remember that it was running and I can get the card id, but now it is not running.

I use S7 1500 plc, and Cm Ptp Rs422/485 BA. I connect a card reader to with 2 wire 15 pin socket. I need only get to card id, normally it has 8 caracter in hex. But now I counldnt get it. How can I receive the data reading by RS485.

Is it true to use Receive config, and what about the the inputs.

Please find the picture about config also.

Have You tested your card reader with some terminal software?....

or RXD led on module flashs when read card ID?

basicly You do not need any config blocks.....You can set everything in hw config....

and as was mentioned buffer should point to whole array....

sry to not be helpful with that Config blocks. I recommend check PORT or HW identifier value or I address of CM, compare it with RCV block PORT value, this must be same. Again, you have there as buffer place some array but with [0] element, this is wrong in my opinion, you need point to whole buffer (check previous my posts). This is what you need to check and set correctly.
