How Can I reset my PLC from HMI interface?

For example: I am assigning a button in HMI. If I press it, then the PLC program should be reset. 

Suggest me a way to reach my needs.

Hello Mr. Jay,

Reset means I want to reset all the set bits, word, Dword everything like machine reset.

If I press a button in HMI then PLC program should be reset and it will be starting from initial stage.

Is there any option available like this?

 Hello,

I don't think such function exists, if you need such thing you can make a piece of code and execute it whenever you press the button.

For an instance 

A M0.0 // button set bit

JCN Lab1 //jump to label if the button is not pressed

CALL RESET_FC // call the fc in which you reset all the set bits and variables

R M0.0 // reset the button bit

Lab1: nop 0 // label used for jump operation

Hi everyone, 

Just like a matter of information, I have create a code in the PLC wich scans all ON and OFF buttons from my HMI, when any of them goes to one I do the following:

=== For motor 1 be turned ON ===

HMI --> press button to turn on motor one (M1_ON)

PLC --> if M1_ON (in a simplified way), so turn ON Motor one

PLC --> at the end of that routine, reset bit (M1_ON)

Outcome: Motor One remaisn ON

=== For motor 1 be turned OFF ===

HMI --> press button to turn oFF motor one (M1_OFF)

PLC --> if M1_OFF (in a simplified way), so turn OFF Motor one

PLC --> at the end of this routine, reset bit (M1_OFF)

Outcome: Motor One remaisn OFF

The highest point in this discussion is that if in the future I add more HMI along the factory floor nothing needs to be changed in the plc logic.
