How do i decrease winding temperature Simotics Motor & Power Unit Temperature of Sinamics drive

Hallo all,

In my application using  Sinamics drive V90 and Simotics motor for Flying Saw & Punch Machine. Commissioning Flying Punch & Cutting Machine 

I used PLC S7 1214 as main controller  is connected by profinet to Sinamics drive V90. My problem is how to keep down of winding temperature on Motor while running 30 minutes. I ever try to run it until 1 hour then monitoring by V-Assistant recorded winding temperature about 100 degree Celsius.

Please help me how to solve my problem.

The machine will running automatically until 6 hour/ day without never stop. I am afraid much that it will make Sinamics drive & Simotics motor will be broken soon.

Hi,

according to my (limited) knowledge a winding temperature above 100 degrees is not a problem and quite normal. 

Have you ever ran into faults? I mean the drive will protect the motor automatically from overtemperature by giving warnings and fault messages if the motor really gets too hot. I could imagine that the motor temperature will not rise above a critical limit. So I would try to run longer and check the temperature again after 2 hours and so on. 

Guys, please correct me if I am wrong.
