Hello, answer to the first question: yes, createa global action and look at thetrigger properties... answer to the second question: which time you want to get, from PC or PLC? PC: static time_t tTimer; static struct tm *ptm; time(&tTimer); ptm = localtime(&tTimer); tm structure is here PLC: read the clock with the SFC1 "READ_CLK"to some DB and then define it as external tag in WinCC. It consists of 8 bytes so you can define it as a few tags or one tag raw data type. Regards Sydney |

Or create in theWinCC explorerunder "Tag Management" a new driver connection to "System Info". Now you can read the date and time from internal WinCC tags. Link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26729460 |
