How do I install S7-PCT

I am installing an Engineering Station with older SW versions to match a few of our machines also running older versions.

I am however still getting a warning / error error that some of my sw is either too old or not installed. 

So - I can see I am not having S7-PCT V3.3 + HF2 - where can I find this and install it?

If it is a option in a standard package just not installed yet I would also like to know this.

S7 PCT is a package in the Step7 Install data.

So I can use the SR4 DVD my coworker dug out for me and find the S7-PCT V3.3 on that - and do a partial install?

Please see the NOW attached screenshots and tell me if S7-PCT v3.5 SP1 is compatible with the rest of the SW on the new ES. Would it not be better to use the same version as is installed on the "old and working ES"?

You can download S7-PCT v3.5 SP1 from the following link:

S7-PCT v3.3 HF2 was made available in 2016, and it is replaced now by this latest version. 

If you really need v3.3, you should try contacting your nearest Siemens rep, maybe he can ask for the v3.3 files from Siemens for you.

yes start the Install of the Step7 prof 2010 SR4 with setup.exe from root of DVD.

then you can select the packages you need to install, here you can only select s7-pct.

can it be that you zip is defect?

Yes - the zip file is defect and I cannot delete it - I am back home now and my cheap personal PC must mess this up.

I am sorry to have uploaded a defective file.

I will try to see it I can find the S7-PCT on the SR4 DVD my coworker found for me and install it from there.

I have tried zipping the .docx file with the 2 pics and attaching it again.

What the screenshots show is that a working ES has S7-PCT V3.3 (HF2) installed but my new (not working) ES only has S7-PCT V3.2 installed.

S7-PCT V3.2 IS the version contained in the S7 SR4 DVD used.

Which DVD can I find S7-PCT V3.3 (HF2) on?

Will it work (without any migration problems) if I simply install S7-PCT v3.5 SP1 (or S7-PCT v3.5 Upd. 1 as I have that version on a DVD)?

We do use distributed I/O on most of the projects.

PCT is only for Siemens IO-Link master configuration. Does your project have Siemens IO-Link masters?

 Distributed I/O can be anything not attached to the PLC rack. I/O Link is commonly used to connect distance measurement sensor, pulse encoders, etc... That also means that the sensors need to be I/O Link capable sensors. You should be able to see in the HW configuration if you have a I/O Link master there.
