The numbers are coming from the PLC. Each number is a status DBW for a gear lever,

The status and position of the levers are shown in the main HMI (WinCC 7.4 SP1) as a square that can be the mentioned 4 colors. In WinCC 7.4 SP1 the square is a faceplate which does the masking so the DBW can be connected directly to the faceplate.

I need to show the same status In the basic panel but basic panels do not support faceplates and I would not have the correct faceplate anyway.

I guess I will have to make the logic in the PLC. It is a simpler since the color I need only depends on 2 of the bits in the DBW as the screenshots show.

Where is the number coming from? Basic panels don't support scripting. If you have so many numbers selecting only 4 colors, i would do the selection in the PLC. Only one TAG can be used for the visualization.
