how do I use simulator in master to master network program.

Hi.

I did not know it was possible, so I had to try it.
Testing networked LOGOs is possible in Logosoft V8 for OBA7 and OBA8.

Download the attached picture and follow my notes:

Download the sample programs (OBA7) under the heading MASTER-MASTER COMMUNICATION at link: LINK

Open the CLIENT and SEVER programs with Logosoft. Make sure to do this in the same session.. have both open in the same program.


1.
Drag and drop from the program view (Diagram mode) into the page marker "Network Project". First the SERVER program and then CLIENT program.



When going to the "Network Project" (see attached),
the two PLCs are there each linked with programs (1A & 1B).


2.
A) Link the two PLCs with each other:
- Click pin 1(hold click)
- Click-drag to pin 2
- Release on pin 2

B) Double click the new network connection to open the network mapping window.

C) Fill out the values as seen. Note which PLC is server and which client. Close the window.


3.
For both the programs: (A) click simulation button (B) network link selected. See also HELP in software for theme "Simulating network communication" for some more detail. Simulate the process as required.

the only thing I did not know is to press the button 3B according to your attached picture.

when I pressed that I am able to simulate over the network.

I cannot help but give a smile for the irony.
It was a lot of work figuring out and presenting it for you..
and all you needed was the last button.

one more thing.

during simulation, when I activate an Input in one master Logo the corresponding network input in the other Logo also activated but when a network ouput is been activated by program on one master logo, the corresponding output on the other logo is not switch.

what can be the problem here.

the signal exchange only work one way it is not working on the reverse way.

This depends on how you set up the exchange between the PLCs (2C). Even if the element is linked to V-memory, if the exchange is not listed then it does not happen. You also need to specify the direction of the data flow by clicking on the arrow.

Suggestion: Zip your LOGO program / project and share it here. Someone is bound to have a look at it and make suggestions.

THERE WAS SOME CONNECTORS NOT ASIGN THAT WAS THE REASON I CANNOT PRINT B4.
