How do you import configurations from the tia selection tool to TIA portal?

As a hardware engineer working with the TIA Selection Tool, is it frustrating that the programmer has to do the hardware configuration manual in TIA portal. So we are doing everything double.

Dear EAP, We know that this is a very important feature. All I can say is that development has already started. The release date is still to be confirmed.

TST Support Experienced Expert Joined: 10/23/2013 Last visit: 3/14/2025 Posts: 117 Rating: (11)	The import and export of configurations to and from TIA Portal will be possible with version 2017.1 of TIA Selection Tool and TIA Portal V14 SP1. The scheduled release date of version 2017.1 of the TIa Selection Tool is April 20th 2017.

It has the export function. currently have TIA V14. When I check for updates I get 'Up to date'. The TIA V14 SP1 has been released or not as it seems to be for trail use only. Anyone has the correct link?

It's from Siemens and can be found on the secondary install CD of Siemens TIA Portal Professional. Enjoy!
