How I can connect s7-1200 (CPU 1214) to DO Modul (SM 1222) at 30 m from each other ?

By adding another CPU to your SM1222 DO module and connect both CPU's by Profinet. |

You can connect between a Max. distanceof 2m, for which this cable has to be used. - SIMATIC S7-1200, EXPANSION CABLE 2.0M- 6ES7290-6AA30-0XA0 If you need to connect signal modules to 30m distance, then it's ideal to go for a Decentralized periphery - either PROFINET / PROFIBUS DP / AS-i. (in that case SM 1222 can't be used - a suitable ET200 IM + Digital Output module must be used) |
