How install license key sm@server in a TP1200 Comfort

I have a similar problem. I'm new to Siemens products, supporting customer with license issue, how do I transfer Simatic WinCC smartserver license on to a TP-1200 comfort panel.

Hello Pav1,

if you have a new one TP1200 Generation 2 then you don't need the extra license at the panel, this license is included.

At a "older" TP1200 you can transfer the license with the ALM.

can you find in chapter 3.3 a example how do you transfer a license to a TP1200.

Hi,

I do have problems with transferring Smart@server license to TP1200 Comfort panel (6AV2 124-0MC01-0AX0).

I tried to use procedure described in the post: (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/74796111/what-information-is-available-about-licenses-for-wincc-(tia-portal)-?dti=0&lc=en-WW)

but it didn't help :(

I do literally miss both options "view->administration" and "Connect Target System". Please see attached screenshots for details.

I do use Ethernet interface for connection and I do manage to ping panel from PC and viceversa (ping PC from panel when TP1200 in transfer mode).

I tried both version of ALM, 5.3 and 6.0. Both have missing option.

I do not have an Engineering station so I do not have any other Siemens software except of ALM on PC which I am using.

What to do to install that license?

Do I need to install something more in addition to ALM?

Please have a look at  Edit -> Connect target system -> Connect HMI device

I tried to find this option many times :) 

Problem is that I do not have that option (please see attached screenshots).

I made a query at forum as I don't know what I need to do to have that option available in ALM.

No. I do have only ALM. Nothing else.

Do I need Prosave? Is there any particulary vesrion or any is good?
