it isn;t that easy as siemens says.... if you don't have to migrate. then don't! migration for comfort panels? see attachment Attachment73502293_WinCC_TIA_STEP7_V5_DOKU_v10_en.pdf (457 Downloads) |

you just point to your step 7 v5.5 file and then hit migrate. but lots of functions arent supported for the s7-300 in TIA portal |

Dear all, A little update on my unequal fight with migration issues. I have decided to program all over again from scratch and search for the migration possibilities later. I could not find any simple and understandable guide that could give me the feeling that I will not lose a week to solve the annoying problems, if I can actuallyprogram everything all over again within a week. But today I got notified by Siemens with this material: "Migration Guide; helps you to migrate from WinCC flexible to WinCC (TIA Portal)" https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=77430539&caller=nl In the meantime my project is almost running, the graphics on the Comfort screen looks delicious and the PLC programis almost ready. |
