How is the max number of ModbusTCP connection for the S7-400?

Biagio Posts: 31 Rating: (1)	Now I've another question: In the plant will be one Siemens S7-400 PLC and60 ABB PLC (with C867 card). The S7-400 will be theclient because it has to take information from ABB PLC. How is the max number of ModbusTCP connection for the S7-400? Is the same number of max TCP connection? Is it enough one license for ModbusTCP? Thanks Splitted fromEthernet communications between S7-400 and ABB PLC AC800.

This is dependent on your CPU and you find it in the manual of the CPU. For 1 CPU you need 1 license, independet on the number of connections. Wüstenräuber
