Hello all, Following your discussion, I would like to ask how many connections with S7-1200 can handle a S7-1500¿? How many connection resources are needed to stablish a link between them¿? I working on a project in which a single S7-1500 PLC must control at least 30 S7-1200 remote units. Best Regards ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

hi AGEnes, when you do it with I-Device-solution, you don´t need connection resources. The S7-1200 would be a device of the S7-1500 over Profinet. And a S7-1500 can handle up to 256 Profinet-devices over the internal interface. Have a look: Configuration and application of PROFINET I-Device function hope this helps, regards |
