how many op couid connect to cpu 315-2dp(6ES7 315-2AG10-0AB0)?

HAMPEL Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	i have three op for connection to cpu. two server pc wincc 6.2 & one op7. in this three operation system i want view around 300 analoge tags. op7 connect to mpi port. two server connect with ethernet card to cp343-1 of cpu. in the same time i do'nt have all of them alive. but with two of three i do'nt have problem. please guide me how many analoge tags to how many op i can connect? please guid me for limitation.

For me it's not clear your network topology and... Can you make drawing with your hardware type of connection and where this data must be visible... regards

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	From my practice - stable work = 1 OP + 1 Scada. This really depends on how much data do you read from CPU. The problem is, that your CPU is not fast enough ( i mean communications). Try RawData tags in WinCC.

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	16 wouldn't work for sure. OP generate communication request to PLC based on tags you have on the screen + read continiously tags. Thats erally takes a long time, because OP doesn't optimize it's requests (WinCCdoes). So also can try following - make start screen without tags, and force returning on that sceen if no button was pressed in last 5 minutes. Also take care how much tags do you read continiously. PS.It would be nice if you'll keep us informed:^)

how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Hi, I ever faced this problem before in one my projects 4 years ago. I am also using cpu315-2dp with op7 and wincc. At that time i always having lost communication of one party in the connection. I did consult my local siemens supplier and they told me shouldnt be a problem as cup315-2dpcan support up to 16 connections they couldnt understand why i am facing this problem. I troubleshooted for weeks to figure out why. At the end i change my cpu to 317 and everything ok and communication works well till today. CPU317 can support up to 32 connections but my initial connections is not even more than 5. I see not reason why with cpu315 giving this lost com/lost connection problem. I feedback to my local siemens supplier that change my cpu to 317 solve my problem and they alsodon't know why. Till now i still dont know why the number of 16 resource connection for cpu315-2dp that indicate in the HW.config is correct or true indication? with regards, how come
