How obtain quality of OPC tag in WinCC RT?

I found only the possibilities to see quality of OPC tags by mouse pointing over the tag in WinCC Explorer Tag Management, but I want inform the operators then OPC tag is wrong. Tag status always is correct, because it illustrate only link between OPC server and OPC Client, but not control the link between OPC Server and device.

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, Can you tell us what OPC Server you use? Some OPC Servers have a "Status" variable available which you can connect to a Tag in WinCC. This tag should thenget the value 1 when the connection between the OPC Server and the OPC Device is OKE. And value 0 (zero) when connection is NOT oke. Regards.

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Nemo, Looks like he is using V5.1 and I'm not sure if this function was available in that version. Also, I don't think he wants to know how to retrieve it, but wants to have a way in determining the status between the device and the OPC Server. If not, I'm sorry.

By the way, I could not find the GetTagBitStateQC in WinCC Infornation System (V6.0 SP2) May be, I must install any Add-On’s ? To Ikkezelf OPC server is «Lectus Modbus OPC» (www.lectussoft.com) As a last resort I can use the «status» variable, but it is not what I want, because the physical channel is very unstable (radio channel) and «status» variable is not a BOOL, but a INTEGER, which describes (in percent) a quality of channel. This variable never become 100% or 0% (of course except channel break). I want to inform operator only if several attempt to getting one fixed variable has failed.
