Hello !! Good morning! I need to schedule an ultrasound sensor in analog plc S7-300. How would this programming (software and hardware) for the plc receive these real values? The sensor is 4 to 20 mA. Thank you! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, There is a getting started manual about this: SIMATIC S7-300 SM331; AI 8x12 Bit Getting Started part 1: 4 -20mA Have a look at it! If you have any further question please come and ask! I hope I could help! |

hi wnunes, you need a analogue input module for S7-300 e.g. 6ES7331-1KF02-0AB0 or you have analogue-input integrated, like a compact-CPU On this module you can connect your 4-20mA-signal. This signal comes in plc normaly as a word-input-variable. It has the value of 0-27648 for 4-20mA. In your code you can use the FC105 to scale it into a REAL-Variable. hope this helps, regards, |
