How should the code be rewritten so that the function for changing the object reference can see and change the tag name?

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/17/2025 Posts: 15311 Rating: (1893)	Hello CsabaTamás Check out, this way should work (I guess the Math_GetBitFromDWord is userdefined projectfunction that uses a String as parameter...? you could also use the Tag Object as parameter but this should also work) let vtag = Tags("dbDevSta_EU108_WinCC"); let ILC=Mth.Math_GetBitFromDWord(vtag.Name,12); you need some kind of Tag reference for the system and if you use the Tags-Collection then you should be able to find this in the changing Object Reference dialog Bye Murof
