How SINUMERIK 840C select MPF to work

jeme Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	I have a SINUMERIK 840C V6.2, the program in CNC change between MPF0 and MPF1 according piece number that machine works, but I don't find where program change between MPF0 or MPF1, there are some information, manual or example where I could find it.

Hi, please give more info. for workpiece changing. then I can help you more. such as how machine knows to make which piece, you press some button? orwhen piece clamping it touch some sensor? normally it can use PLC programm to select MPF No. BR

You can check FB236 seg.10, A F234.3//JC FB62..... this is for MPF No. selection. and in seg.9 there is SPF No. slelction. you can ref. DocONWeb: "840C Function Macros", description of FB62. you PLC prog.is missing FB234. so it is not easy to check the detail functions. hope that helps
