You can pretty much access everything with Screen.FindItem function, but this requires you to correctlly anticipate parent and location of object you want to find and read aswell as knowing the string name of the object.

I use this to get the properties of a popup button to get the Left and Top of the popup button so that the OpenScreenInPopup function pops the window next to the button.

So yeah, Screen.FindItem will work for you but it requires some work. In your example you would have to know the name of the faceplate/popupscreen and the object inside.

Just an example directly from my head, not neccessarily correct.

I can give further information on the Screen.FindItem if it is of interest.

Could you give the example of how to access the Left position of a button inside a Faceplate Container.

For instante a Faceplate named "FP test", and a button inside named "Button test".

I mean, access this property from outside the Faceplate, I would appreciate that.

I am testing a similar application, but to set (from outside) the logged alarms in an alarm view inside a faceplate. However, the following does not work:

Screen.FindItem("FP Alarma LIT01 Info/Alarm control_1").AlarmSourceType = 2;
