How to backup parameters spindle module 6SN1121

AutoGen_813835 Regular Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 7/23/2023 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	I have an old machine at a customer with problems regarding enable signals and it seems there is an faulty spindle drive unit. The card number: 6SN1121-0BA13-0AA0 As soon as I put the connector with the enable signals in (pin 9,663,65,81), the complete system goes down (central enable signal on the ER-module on pin 9 goes down). Before changing the card I would like to save the parameters. On display I see 000 - 399; and a lot of them have subparameters so writing them down is a lot of work. How can I backup these parameters? I tried SimoCom A and SimoCom U with a serial cable (pin 2,3,5) but they don't work. Packages are too new?

But If it doesn't work with the cable, and I have to remove the eprom, Is it still possible for a repair shop to repair the faulty card? I hope they can repair the card. It has been followed up with 3 newer cards since the build of the machine. The latest version is partially compatible according to Siemens Service. Problem: I do not know what the differences are. Is it only the software? or perhaps different values in parameters? or other connections on the front? The 6SN1121-0BA13-0AA0 has been followed up with the 6SN1121-0BA11-0AA1, then with the 6SN1118-0NH01-0AA0 (partially compatible), then 6SN1118-0NH01-0AA1 which can be ordered on special request in Germany. Delivery time unknown...
