How to build a freewheeling timer in WinCC

Techy Posts: 86 Rating: (2)	Hello All, I am trying to build a freewheeling timer ( say 10 sec)in WinCC. I want to use it, so that it is continously reset from PLC say every 5 seconds. Incase PLC communication breaks the timer should give a PLC comm. failure. I am not able to find any function where I can use the system time ;tried browsing on the forum & found a reference to Taglogging timer. I am not sure how this can get used to for my application,and would like to log & alarm only when the timer times out. Any wise suggestions? Thanks, Techy
