How to calibrate and set the weight to zero and then put a known weight and calibrate with it etc?

In my application there is a tank which will be filed with chemicals. I want to measure the weight of these chemicals. So the load cell will have the weight of the tank and the weight of the chemicals inside it. During calibration the tank will be empty but the load cells will measure the weight of the tank. How will i be able to calibrate and set the weight to zero and then put a known weight and calibrate with it etc? I look forward to hearing from you ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from SIWAREX WP231 calibration sequence using user program.

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 12/10/2024 Posts: 1158 Rating: (175)	Hello autodafos, Your scale is a “normal” scale, and you can do the calibration in the normal way: 1. step: Define a calibration weight and send this calibration weight to the WP231 module 2. step: When your tank is empty, execute the command “Set Calibration point 0”. The WP231 module shows you now: “0 kg”. 3. step: Put your calibration weight on your empty tank, and execute the command “Set Calibration point 1”. The WP231 module shows you now your used calibration weight. After the calibration, you see only the weight of the chemicals. If your tank is empty, you will see “0 kg”. Best regards Siwarexi

Measure the measurement signal of the load cells at the pins “SIG+” and “SIG-” of the WP231 module. The measurement signal has to be positive. Best regards Siwarexi

RAVI NANDAM Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	But i am having another module which is working fine but i am getting problem with another one NOTE: both connection was same and applying the load same as well AND i want to know the "add info" i.e error: 7007 calibration not pulsable add info: 61 some times 62 sometimes 100 i need that "add info" information where i can get that information

Article No : 7MH4960-2AA01 If I give 'set calibartion point 0' the 'caibration digits 0 (measured)'=(-38393). after that I am applying 10kgs of load then I am giving the command 'set calibration point 1' the calibration digits 1 (measured) it is not showing any values ,it remains zero.This leads to the error 7007 Calibrationweights / Calibrationdigits not plausible add info: 82 ... please give me the solution... Thanks in advance...

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 12/10/2024 Posts: 1158 Rating: (175)	Hello RAVI NANDAM, I guess, that your digit values are still negativ, when you put the 10 kg on the scale. In this case, the error 7007 occurs. If so, the measurement signal of your load cells is not ok. You can measure the load cell signal at the WP231 module at the pins SIG+ and SIG-. The voltage has to be always in the positive range. Best regards Siwarexi
